beginner
For those just starting out, our beginner classes focus on basic baton twirling skills & hand/eye coordination.
Intermediate
Intermediate classes review and solidify the core basics of baton twirling. Twirlers also begin to learn the proper technique for tosses, rolls & bodywork.
advanced
Advanced classes continue working on core twirls & bodywork. Multiple batons, tricks and advanced tosses are a focus of this class.
competition
For girls who want to take twirling a step further and enjoy being on the stage, we are now offering competitive twirl for groups & soloists. Contact the studio for additional info.
private
Private lessons are available for girls prepping for tryouts or for competitive soloists.

Take the Stage Twirling Studio is located in Florence, AL. and is proud to be sponsored by the Florence Park and Rec Department. Classes are offered for twirlers starting at age 3 in beginner, intermediate, advanced and private. Take the Stage also offers a competition team for twirlers starting at age 9 for qualified twirlers. Along with basic twirling skills we also focus on technique, bodywork, multiple baton and tricks while incorporating dance & light gymnastics. Classes are led by qualified instructors in a fun, stress free environment. Recreational classes participate in parades, local exhibitions, festivals and an end of the year recital. We also host 3 or more specialty workshops during the season.
Tuition starts at $40.00 per month. Sibling discounts are available.
